Meet Sarah
Hello and welcome! I’m Sarah Trepp, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut. I’ll share a little information about my training as well as what you can expect during our time together.
I received a Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University and primarily trained at Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) working with young adults and their families.
I began working at YNHH in 2018, and treated patients managing anxiety, depression, substance use, major life changes, and mood disorders.
During my time at Yale I received extensive training in DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness techniques. I worked with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families.
I began seeing individual clients in private practice once I received my LCSW. Here I found my passion for working with individuals and their families.
While I specialize in working with young adults, I also work with teens and adults managing depression, anxiety, major life changes, grief and loss, career and school related stress.
During our work together I will offer you a safe space to work through the challenges you’re facing. We may use DBT & CBT informed practices as well as Mindfulness & Relaxation Techniques.
Entering therapy for any reason can be nerve wracking. We will recognize the strengths within you and I will be a non-judgmental support throughout our time together.
